Grade suitability: Grades 4-6

The most abundant element in space is hydrogen. The sun, the star that gives us light and energy, is also made up hydrogen. Scientists study the sun everyday and space engineers make use of different elements on the periodic table to understand our space environment. Join this hands on workshop and learn more about some elements on the periodic table and how it is used in space.
