The purpose, significance and role of water in our daily lives will be discussed with learners through interactive sessions. The interactions of flora and fauna within ecosystems, biomes and biospheres will be explained in addition to the threats to water availability which may lead to water scarcity. Activities will focus on water conservation in the context of water purification, filtration and filter experiments that allow learners to engage and interact with stimulating objects whilst promoting optimal learning. Learners will understand the concept of “filtration is purification” and the associated benefits of this process.
